The Craft Fair, Part II

Em Português depois das fotos :)

I told you about THE Craft Fair a couple of days ago.
Well, it was this Saturday.

I REALLY planned things this time. I made a jewelry display, inspired by this by ArtMind (see the differences? eheheheh I'm not has crafty has she is I guess), I priced everything in advance, I took my rocks with me (the ones I use as props for my etsy photos).. I was packed and ready the day before! (in comparison with last year, I must tell you this is a great accomplishment!).
I even took my time to make my stand a pretty place, instead of just throwing things on it (yes, like last year).
I took more than 1 hour to get my stand ready! But I moved away, looked at it, and felt pride. It looked good.

My stand from away, I share my stand with a friend, she's on "black", although the black jewelry display is mine.

But then it started raining.
Oh yeah. Raining. All morning.

Some of the people who had stands went home, but not me. I mean, come ON! I didn't want to go in the fist place, then I got excited about it, made a JEWELRY DISPLAY people!!! Took more than one hour to set up the stand, woke up at 7 a.m. on a Saturday and now I'm supposed to go home? No way. The rain will stop and I'll be here when that happens.

Eventually I went to have lunch with one of my neighbors and when we came back, no more rain, and we even had a little bit of sun!

We had to put plastics on top of the things because of the rain

This guy wouldn't give up because of the rain either, he was so funny!

Carolina's stand, she makes these amazing wallets sewn by hand, one day I'll tell you all about her

Oh I had so much fun! We laughed and laughed, like our craft fairs used to be... I even sold some pieces and I had a blast!

Next month I'm thinking of making some origami flowers because of Mother's Day, to give to the Mother's and costumers that stop by/buy something.

A Feira, Parte II

Estava bonita! Que orgulho!

E foi então que começou a chover. Sim, a chover. A manhã toda.
A chuva iria parar e eu estaria lá.

E diverti-me tanto!

Sounds like you had a blast, sweetie! Personally I'm too chicken (or too lazy) to participate in fairs :) but maybe one day... maybe one day...

Oh, and your stand looked very professional! Love the earrings display especially! :)

Your earring display looks good! It's great to hear you enjoyed the fair despite the rain shower. My fair is approaching in two weeks, it's organized indoors.

I tink you did a greta job staying so positive - and I'm glad it paid off. Great idea about the (fl)origami flowers to give to the mums!
