E agora para algo completamente diferente *

Esta foto foi tirada no princípio do ano de 2001, quando as máquinas fotográficas digitais ainda não eram tão comuns como as convencionais (daí o pequeno defeito de fim de rolo).

Lembrei-me desta foto ontem e fui procurá-la.
Esta foto lembra-me uma altura crítica durante o curso de Geologia, quando eu e mais 4 colegas fomos largadas no Cabeço de Montachique a fazer a cadeira de Geologia de Campo II.

Esta foto lembra-me o que significa ser Geólogo, por motivos emocionais que não vou explorar aqui.
E porque às vezes as circunstâncias obrigam-nos a dar valor a certas coisas que anteriormente não davamos, ultimamente tenho-me apercebido do quanto gosto da Geologia.

Agora, que estou num mundo diferente e vou ser Engenheira Geóloga e de Minas no papel, posso dizer com toda a certeza do mundo que nunca vou deixar de ser Geóloga, com todo o orgulho que esta frase possa representar :)

This picture was taken in the beginning of the year 2001, when digital cameras were more rare than the conventional ones (and that's why you see this was the end of the film).

Yesterday I remembered this photo and went looking for it.
This photo reminds me a hard time during my Geology degree, when me and 4 girlfriends were "dropped" in the middle of the woods for 4 months for a discipline called Field Geology II.

This photo reminds me what it means to be a Geologist, for emotional reasons I'm not going to explore here.
And because sometimes the circumstances make you to see things from another point of view, lately I'm finding out again why I love Geology so much.

Now that I'm in a completely different world and that soon I'll be a Geological and Mining Engineer, I can say, with all the certainty of the world, that I'll never stop being a Geologist, with all the pride and joy I can have.

Nanouke, It makes me happy to read this. It isnt everybody who finds out what they really want and what they love to do in life.
