Lista de Natal

Já ando a pensar nas prendas de Natal.
Não são muitas, a minha família é pequenina e acabo por estender as ofertas às minhas colegas de trabalho e pouco mais. Mas é divertido ir procurando, pensando, e este ano penso mesmo que vou oferecer handmade a toda a gente.

Aqui vai uma pequena selecção do que me chamou à atenção, para oferecer e, quem sabe, para mim :)

I'm thinking about Christmas already. I don't have much gifts to buy, I have a small family and I'd be giving presents only to my co-workers and family, maybe a few friends too. But it's so much fun to browse, and this year I'm really going for handmade gifts. Sempre gostei de libelinhas e de insectos em geral.
Este fim-de-semana tentei fazer uma e este foi o resultado! Gosto muito :) Sinto-me confiante para tentar outras coisas novas.






I always loved dragonflies and insects in general.
This weekend I tried to make one and this is the result! I really like it, and now I feel more confident to try other things.

Saga

Esta 2ª-feira começou uma nova etapa da minha vida.
Voltei à escola, desta vez ao IST, para tirar o Mestrado em Engenharia Geológica e de Minas.
A trabalhar de manhã e a ter aulas à tarde, com 60 km entre uma coisa e outra, não me vai deixar muito tempo para seja o que for...
Mas vai correr tudo bem, de certeza.

This Monday a new phase in my life has begun.
I'm back to school, this time to IST, to take my Masters in Mining and Geological Engineering.
Working in the mornings and having classes in the afternoons, with 60 km between both places, isn't going to leave me with much time for anything else...
But I'm sure everything will be fine!

Mas esta semana ainda tive tempo para fazer a minha peça para o desafio da semana da European Street Team da Etsy.
A chefe do desafio é a JKphotography que escolheu o tema Minimalismo.

Encomendas

São raras as vezes em que tiro fotografias às encomendas.
Na verdade, eu não gosto da parte de tirar fotografias e editá-las (ja repararm?), mas de vez em quando tiro e acho que estes artigos também merecem ser mostrados.

I hardly never take pictures to custom orders.
Actually, I hate the "taking pictures and editing them" part (have you noticed?), but sometimes I do and I thins these items deserved to be shown too.

Por acaso esta encomenda surgiu de uma em vermelho que fiz e nunca tirei fotografia também.
Gostei do resultado, mas estas flores são demasiado trabalhosas.
