Hello fluffy people!

This has been a better week. Ironically, now there are true black clouds over my head, but that's just because the weather has been crazy and it's raining in July. Go figure.

I'm posting on my blog and still nothing new to show you. But today, on the bus on my way to work, I had this amazing idea. I'm so excited. Can't wait to go home and work on that! Hopefully I'll have something to show you soon!

Speaking of which (inspiration), I was brainstorming with a jeweler friend of mine and we spoke about a collection we could make together. I'm not sure if we're going to do it (sometimes life gets in the way) but I sure hope so!!

That gets me to the challenge I want to talk to you about.

Hello everyone, hope you had a happy weekend!
Mine was rainy. But I did have a few rays of sunshine!

One of them was to get home to the watercolor I won on a giveaway that Elsita was having on her blog. Elsita was one of the first etsy shops I found. I love her work, and I read her blog almost everyday. She's an amazing person and she inspires me to be good and positive.
So winning this giveaway was really a happy moment for me!

I got this amazing watercolor! It's so beautiful and special! I love it!


I had some tea with two friends at an amazing tea room called Casa Avó Gama (where I actually used to work 5 years ago) and took the pictures there.


I'm so lucky! Thank you Elsa!

A lot of good suggestions! You made this task quite hard! But, I didn't tell you about it, but I'm planning making these in different colors, so all the suggestions that only work with green... sorry guys. I really like the lichen, moss olive suggestions, but I was going for something more general.

Tantas sugestões boas! Tornaram a decisão muito dificíl... Mas, apesar de não vos ter dito, planeio fazer estes brincos em várias cores, então pretendia um nome mais geral, que não estivesse associado ao verde. Gostei imenso do mungo, lentilhas, líquen, mas procurava algo mais geral.

As I announced a few days ago, I had a special promotion going on my Etsy shop to celebrate my #100 sales.
Thanks to my fabulous buyers, I reached that number a couple of days ago!
My #98 sale got a pair of errings, my #99 a ring and I promised a Special Surprise to my #100 sale!
Lucky enough, it was from a known face :) Dinafragola bought me a Multicolored brooch and received something I've been working on, a new design.
She told me today she got it, so now I can show you!

Como vos disse há uns dias, na minha loja Etsy fiz uma promoção para celebrar as 100 vendas online.
Graças às minhas fabulosas clientes, cheguei a esse número há uns dias!
A minha venda nº. 98 recebeu um par de brincos, a n.º99 um anel e eu tinha prometido uma surpresa muito especial à venda n.º 100, uma nova peça, um novo design em que tenho estado a trabalhar.
Acabou por ir calhar a uma cara conhecida, Dinafragola, que me comprou uma pregadeira multicolorida, a qual já chegou à Bélgica. Antes de enviar, tirei fotos à surpresa, um colar de lã, com "bolhas", o que acham?

São feitos com "contas" tricotadas à mão com arame verde e depois é-lhes dada a forma de um disco.
